Open Internet Transparency Disclosure

The following disclosure describes the network practices, performance characteristics and commercial terms for Nucla-Naturita Telephone Company pursuant to the Federal Communications Commission’s Open Internet Transparency requirements in 47 C.F.R §8.3.

Network Practice

  •                   *     Blocking

NNTC does not engage in any practice, other than reasonable network management disclosed herein, that blocks or otherwise prevents end user access to lawful content, applications, service or non-harmful devices.

*    Throttling:

NNTC does not engage in any practice, other than reasonable network management elsewhere disclosed herein, that degrades or impairs access to lawful Internet traffic on the basis of content, application, service, user, or use of a non-harmful device. 

*      Affiliated Prioritization:

NNTC does not engage in any practice that directly or indirectly favors some traffic over other traffic, including through use of techniques such as traffic shaping, prioritization, or resource reservation, to benefit an affiliate.

*      Paid Prioritization:

NNTC does not engage in any practice that directly or indirectly favors some traffic over other traffic, including through use of techniques such as traffic shaping, prioritization, or resource reservation, in exchange for consideration, monetary or otherwise.

*     Congestion Management:

NNTC monitors the overall bandwidth to individual exchanges and monitors congestion. NNTC  does everything we can to minimize congestion.  We employee technics in order to prevent congestion and to ensure good customer quality.

*      Application-Specific Behavior:

NNTC makes sure that its customers receive their full lawful internet content.  

*      Device Attachment Rules:

NNTC does not engage in any restrictions on the types of devices and any approval procedures for devices to connect to the network.  Customers are free to choose modems for their DSL service; however, any modems not provided by NNTC will not be supported via tech support. 

*        Security:

NNTC protects the security of it's customers information by firewalls, antivirus and malware.  NNTC runs penetration tests in order to prevent and/or minimize malicious attacks against NNTC's network.
